Welcome, at long last, to the home of Thick Pixel Productions, 3D modeling & animation, and motion-picture grip services.
It's been an eclectic journey since an angry letter-to-the-editor during my
freshman year at Purdue got me recruited as a reporter for the campus
daily newspaper. In the intervening 2+ decades there's been a case of
mistaken identity which resulted in my first television job (two weeks as the
production assistant on the 25th Anniversary Bozo Special), a very surreal
road-trip shooting a sales training video for Wilbert Burial Vaults, numerous
all-nighters that were not supposed to be, a whole new industry in 3D graphics, a space
shuttle launch, and a night spent shooting a feature film in a pit of
semi-frozen cow sh- . . . well, . . . excrement.
So, have a look around and try to see if you can figure out exactly what I do. (I'm dying to know myself.) Jerk-of-all-trades, master of none? Perhaps. But I believe my wide array of skills and experience can help bring new dimensions to your next digital animation or film/video project.
